I didn't receive a confirmation email

Check your spam/junk folder first. Still nothing? Email us at [email protected] with your name and the email you used during submission. We'll track it down.

I made a typo in my passport number

Don't panic! If your ETA hasn't been processed yet, we can fix it. Email us ASAP with your reference number and the correct passport number.

I'm not sure which travel purpose to select

Tourism covers holidays and sightseeing. Business covers meetings and conferences. Transit is for passing through. Visiting covers trips to see friends or family. When in doubt, be honest — it matters more than you think.

My passport is expiring soon — can I still get an ETA?

Your passport needs to be valid for the entire duration of your UK stay. If it's expiring within 6 months, we strongly recommend renewing it first. Your ETA is tied to your passport, so a new passport = new ETA.
